This quiet clutch for BDL belt drives is designed to help quiet the rattle that is normally associated with open belt drives or closed belt drives with vented covers. Normally the friction plates are splined to the inner clutch hub, but the quiet clutch friction plates incorporate a round dog drive to the outer clutch basket. The friction plates are bonded to aluminum for light weight. Includes 7 Kevlar friction plates, 7 splined steel plates and one splined steel backing plate.
